My pitch is simple: I love the Island Shakespeare Festival. It is absolutely magical to sit outside in the summer in a beautiful, forested setting and see talented, professional, passionate people tell some of the greatest stories ever written, realized for a contemporary audience. Your donation makes this possible. 

As a member of ISF's Board of Directors, I deeply support the festival's commitment is to the Pay What You Will model. We don't charge for admission, so anyone and everyone has access to the really incredible theatre that the company, with great joy, works so hard to make. 

We made it through Covid! We're ready to celebrate with two new productions this summer. See our re-imagined Romeo & Juliet by Shakespeare that reflects the challenges of our times and enjoy our funny, feminist rebuttal to Taming of the Shrew, Bold Stroke for a Husband, written by 18th century London playwright, Hannah Cowley.
