As many of you know, I’m currently recovering from eye surgery. Your encouragement means everything to me right now. That’s why I’m reaching out during this year’s GiveBIG campaign — not just for a morale boost, but to support a mission I care deeply about.

For the past 7 years, I’ve had the honor of working with Easterseals Washington, helping children and adults with disabilities across our state live more independent, fulfilling lives. Whether it’s through early learning programs, summer camps, job training, or daily support services, Easterseals is there — creating opportunities and opening doors.

• Young children with disabilities thrive in nurturing, supportive classrooms.
• Teens and adults build confidence and skills through job coaching and employment programs.
• Families find peace of mind through respite care and community-based services.
• Campers experience the joy of summer at Camp Stand By Me, a fully accessible overnight camp that’s truly magical.

This work is more important than ever. With government funding becoming less reliable, nonprofits like Easterseals Washington need strong community support to stay resilient and continue serving those who count on them.
