The Normandy Park Police Foundation invites you to join our Big Give fundraiser—an opportunity to make a real difference in the safety, well-being, and connectedness of our community. As an independent, community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work hand-in-hand with residents, local organizations, and the Normandy Park Police Department to support programs and initiatives that keep Normandy Park a safe and vibrant place to live.

Why Your Support Matters

Normandy Park is home to approximately 6,500 residents across 2.5 beautiful square miles in southwest King County, WA. Our dedicated police department—10 commissioned officers, 3 reserve officers, and committed administrative staff—work tirelessly to protect and serve. But they can’t do it alone. The Foundation provides crucial resources and funding for programs that go beyond basic law enforcement, focusing on prevention, engagement, and empowerment.

What Your Donation Supports

1. Community Safety Tools: We invest in technology like Flock cameras to help detect and deter crime, making our neighborhoods safer for everyone.

2. Paws on Patrol: We support the program that engages pet owners as extra eyes and ears in the community, strengthening neighborhood watch efforts and building community spirit.

3. Youth and Community Engagement: Programs like ‘Shop with a Cop’ foster positive relationships between police officers and local youth, celebrate important milestones, and support officer well-being.

4. Crime Prevention Education: We promote initiatives such as the RAD Women’s Self-Defense Program, empowering individuals with practical skills to protect themselves and others.

5. Blockwatch Program: We help neighbors connect and collaborate to prevent crime, improve safety, and build a stronger, more resilient community.
