Families can get the keys to an apartment and still spend months living in furniture poverty. No beds. No table. No sofa. No place to rest, gather, or feel at home. Research shows that furniture supports sleep, mental health, family bonding, and a sense of stability — yet it is still not recognized as a basic need in the U.S. One of the biggest barriers is transportation. Even when furniture is available, families often have no way to get it home. This campaign helps bridge that gap by funding the delivery that turns restored furniture into true home stability. 

Furniture Repair Bank restores essential furniture and delivers it to families rebuilding their lives. This GiveBIG, help us kickstart our upcoming campaign to power the truck, crew, and operations that turn donated furniture into real homes for 200 families. $10,000 will will give our fundraiser a great start and will cover delivery operations, including 20 trips that bring restored furniture into multiple homes. Thanks to a generous donor, every dollar up to $5,000 will be matched.
