Waite Wedding Food Lifeline Fundraiser

If you know us, you know food is one of the ways we show love.

Chances are, you’ve eaten a meal Becky made for a girls’ brunch or Thanksgiving dinner, had a cocktail mixed by Paul during the Super Bowl, or gathered around our table for good food, good drinks, and probably a lot of laughter. Cooking and hosting the people we love is one of our favorite things to do.

To us, food is about so much more than fuel or nutrition. It’s comfort, connection, celebration, and care. Some of our favorite memories have been made around a table with the people we love most, which makes sharing a meal with all of you on our wedding day especially meaningful.

But we also know that gathering around the table isn’t something every family in our community can count on. As the cost of groceries and everyday necessities continues to rise in the Seattle area, too many of our neighbors are struggling to afford enough food. It can mean kids going to school without breakfast, parents skipping meals so their children can eat, and families carrying the constant stress of figuring out how to make ends meet.

As we celebrate a day filled with so much love, food, and community, we want to share a little of that love beyond our own table. We’re raising money for Food Lifeline to help provide food to our neighbors across Western Washington.
