April 18 at 5:00 p.m. (PST): Donors will start to flood the website soon. Organizations that have not met the minimum requirements for their profile page or paid their registration fee will have their profiles unpublished until these requirements are met.
April 22 to May 5: Early giving period. The Washington Gives website will get "dressed up" as the GiveBIG website, which will include a giving ticker, leaderboards, social media feed, and other branded features.
April 22 at 9:00 a.m. (PST): The first Give Again email will be sent to past GiveBIG donors, encouraging them to give.
April 27: Seattle Times Giving Guide is published, which promotes GiveBIG to thousands of readers in the Puget Sound region.
April 29 at 9:00 a.m. (PST): The second Give Again email will be sent to past GiveBIG donors who have not yet given toward the 2025 campaign.
May 4: Final day to register (hard deadline).
May 6–7: GiveBIG 48-hour campaign, ending on Wednesday, May 7 at midnight.
May 6 at 12:00 p.m. (PST): The third Give Again email will be published.
May 7 at 2:00 p.m. (PST): The fourth and final Give Again email will be published, making one final push to support the 48-hour giving campaign.
May 31: Donors can still give to GiveBIG campaigns until May 31. During this time nonprofits need to input "offline" donations received during GiveBIG to their websites, checks in the mail, etc. so that we have the full picture of funds raised during the campaign. There are no fees for offsite donations.
Early June: Washington Gives registration will reopen.
Remember, you can still raise money and run special campaigns on the Washington Gives website year-round, including on GivingTuesday on December 2, 2025.
