Tusubira - We Have Hope

Mission

Tusubira works with non-profit organizations in rural Ugandan villages to address issues that perpetuate poverty by providing education and community development programs. We believe every youth deserves an opportunity to thrive, to become a contributing member of a healthy, productive community, and be free from extreme poverty.

100% of your contribution directly makes an impact on lives!

Tusubira is 100% volunteer-run, and our board members donate to offset any expenses. 

Our Goal

Uplift the lives of children through education and empower the dedicated teachers who play a crucial role in their education. 

→ We’re raising $5,000 to support building a New Boys' Latrine, School Property Fencing, and Security for the CIRC.

  • Water tank at school
  • Handwashing station 
  • New girls' latrine
• Catafruit Grant for completion of Computer and Information Resource Center (CIRC) and purchase of computers

Current Project at School:

• Building of new classroom block to expand school

2026 Trip to Uganda

Tusubira Board of Directors President Carol Bogezi and Treasurer Joel Masselink visited the school on April 2nd, 2026, meeting with Child Empowerment Programme Director Robert Kalulu. They received a warm welcome and toured the newly built and furnished Computer and Information Resource Center (CIRC), see pictured below!
