Town Hall Seattle

A nonprofit organization

Mission

A vibrant gathering place in the heart of Seattle, Town Hall fosters an engaged community through civic, arts, and educational programs that reflect and inspire our region's best impulses: creativity, empathy, and the belief that we all deserve a voice.

Description

Everyone deserves access to new ideas, creativity, and a voice in their community. Town Hall was founded in 1998 to transform a beloved historic building into an affordable performance home for regional small/midsized arts and cultural organizations. Since then, we have matured into a nationally unique institution that provides a space where diverse voices converge, ideas flourish, and connections are forged. Our Town Hall is special because it serves as the heartbeat of our community, welcoming artists, authors, musicians, and thinkers from our own backyard & around the world to share their work and ideas.

Every spring, people and organizations come together across Washington to invest in our communities during GiveBIG. This Season, as we celebrate 25 YEARS of innovative programs, we're celebrating everything that makes Town Hall special – so far this year we’ve produced over 250 events, including our Global Rhythms Series, the return of Saturday Family Concerts, and collaborations with our first ever Venue Access Partner, Orquesta Northwest! We depend on you to help us innovate and dream about our future.

Your donation directly supports Town Hall’s sliding-scale ticket model, free admission for ages 22 and under, subsidized rental costs for local organizations, dynamic programming, accessibility efforts, and more.

We hope you will support Town Hall's work and mission this GiveBIG by making a donation today! Every gift gets us closer to our $25,000 goal and helps create Town Hall that belongs to EVERYONE, a place that embodies the essence of our community – vibrant, inclusive, and ever-evolving.
