Mission

The Old Goats Home & Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and long life care of goats in need from a variety of neglectful, dangerous, unwanted and abusive situations. We strive to provide everything that the animals need from special needs support, senior care, assisted living and then hospice care.
We believe everybody deserves a chance, everybody deserves to feel loved, and everybody deserves a forever home.

Description

The Old Goats Home & Rescue is a 100% volunteer run, 501(c)3 registered charity dedicated to goats who are in need. Each year, we rescue goats from situations that leave goats in situations that are beyond their control and we give them a soft place to land and call their own. Just last year alone we have taken in 178 in rescue babes, some coming from dia conditions, un able to be cared for, predator situations, unwanted, surrendered, or at risk of slaughter.  Covid being so prominent for the last two years has impacted many families, unfortunately farm animals like goats have found themselves out of a home, or unable to be cared for due to financial strain. We were proud to be able to help where we could, and we thank you for your consideration towards helping us continue our mission.

Recognition

We are 100% volunteer run, so 100% of any donations received go directly towards the rescue, rehabilitation, and long life care of all the farm animals that reside at The Old Goats Home & Rescue. No salaries are paid, it all goes to the animals and we are proud to offer not only our time but a 5 star health care plan to each and every rescue babe who calls OGH home.
