Seattle Streets Alliance (formerly Seattle Neighborhood Greenways) organizes and mobilizes people to make every neighborhood a great place to walk, bike, roll, and live. 

Making Seattle's Streets Safer for Everyone

For 15 years, Seattle Streets Alliance has been at the heart of Seattle’s safe streets movement — neighbors organizing neighbors to make it safer and easier to walk, bike, roll, and gather on our streets.

With support from volunteers and donors like you, we focus on:

• Street Safety: We advocate for safer speeds, better crossings, and proven safety designs so people walking, rolling, and biking can get where they’re going safely.
• Biking Connections: We work to fully connect Seattle’s bike network so people of all ages and abilities can get to school, jobs, parks, and transit safely.
• Centering Equity in Advocacy: We partner with communities most impacted by traffic violence and disinvestment to push for safety and access where it’s needed most.
• Walkable Neighborhoods: We work toward a Seattle where groceries, schools, parks, and transit are within a short and accessible walk or roll.
• Streets as Community Space: We support street and public space designs that create welcoming places to walk, gather, and thrive.
