Our Mission

Seattle Streets Alliance (formerly Seattle Neighborhood Greenways) organizes and mobilizes people to make every neighborhood a great place to walk, bike, roll, and live. 

For 15 years, we've been at the heart of Seattle’s safe streets movement — neighbors organizing neighbors to make it safer and easier to walk, bike, roll, and gather on our streets.

• Centering Equity in Advocacy: We partner with communities most impacted by traffic violence and disinvestment to push for safety and access where it’s needed most.
• Walkable Neighborhoods: We work toward a Seattle where groceries, schools, parks, and transit are within a short and accessible walk or roll.
• Streets as Community Space: We support street and public space designs that create welcoming places to walk, gather, and thrive.
