Mission

Stewardship Partners creates people-based solutions that engage Puget Sound communities as caretakers of the land and water that sustain us.

Description

For nearly 20 years, Stewardship Partners has been dedicated to helping landowners restore and protect the natural landscapes of Puget Sound. We collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build bridges and find solutions that achieve common goals of environmental health, economic vitality, and community well-being. Our three main programs address water quality issues at the source by filtering polluted stormwater runoff, restoring fish and wildlife habitat, supporting green building initiatives, and maintaining the ecological and economic viability of farms, forestland, and communities.

When you give to Stewardship Partners- you're helping to enroll all kinds of people to be caretakers of the land, water, and community they are already a part of. Our impact is measured in actual acres, gallons, gardens, and helping hands:
• Our 12,000 Rain Gardens campaign currently includes nearly 4,000 rain gardens across Puget Sound that capture and clean over 64 million gallons of storm water every year
• We restored 72 acres of habitat across 32 properties with 135,000 plants, totaling 17 miles of the Snoqualmie River through our Snoqualmie Stewardship program
• 156 farms, vineyards, urban sites and golf courses totaling 11,145 acres of land and vegetation were certified Salmon-Safe through our WA Salmon-Safe program
