Who We Are

The mission of Southeast Seattle Senior Center (SESSC) is to provide services, activities, and support to promote self-sufficient and fulfilling lives for aging adults (50+) in our multicultural community.

We embrace diversity. SESSC serves the most racially and economically diverse population in King County. 

We listen. SESSC programming is created in thoughtful response to the real needs, desires, and dreams of our members.

We are family. SESSC belongs to both our members and the greater community. It is your second home and an intergenerational place of pride.
We Need Your Support

• Our Mobile Lunch Food Program continues to serve over 100 homebound seniors, and we're actively seeking additional support to sustain and expand this vital service.
• Efforts are underway to upgrade our facility, including improving our HVAC system and enhancing indoor air quality for the comfort and health of all.
• We're committed to expanding our essential programs and celebrations throughout the year, with a focus on health and wellness education and forging new partnerships within the community.
