Standing in the Gap. Standing Together.
Funding cuts and delays have created a $1.7 million shortfall — and community needs are growing. Your gift helps keep housing, meals, and care within reach.
Your gift today helps ensure that youth, families, and those who need us most continue to have access to essential support — from safe housing and nourishing meals to mental health care and opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. At the Y, we stand with our community — and we invite you to stand with us.
Food Access
When schools close and budgets tighten, the Y helps families put food on the table. Your support helps us continue meal programs across King County – no questions asked. “We have such a great crew of people who come together to make these meals and I love being a part of it.” ~ Volunteer, Ronald Commons Café
Housing & Stability
From youth shelters to rapid rehousing, your gift provides a safe place to land and a path to long-term stability. James found housing and hope at the Y after months of living in his car. Now, he’s employed and working toward a career in construction.
Chronic Disease Prevention & Health Equity
From diabetes prevention to blood pressure monitoring, the Y helps individuals manage and prevent chronic conditions — especially in communities most impacted by health disparities. Your support helps make these wellness programs accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive.
Mental Health & Wraparound Support
Our trauma-informed teams walk alongside young people through foster care transitions, crisis recovery, and healing journeys. Tina’s story spans seven years – from housing instability to independence. At every step, the Y was there.
Why Give?
We are Stronger Together
Mission
Building a community where all people, especially the young, are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind and body.
Equity Statement
The Y actively promotes a culture free from bias and injustice. We are dedicated to removing institutional and systemic barriers that result in oppression and racism. We will be accountable to marginalized communities for creating equitable and sustainable environments where social justice is woven into every facet of our programs, and by caring for our communities in a culturally versatile and respectful manner.
