Mission

SPSI’s ongoing mission is to reflect and contribute to the evolving face of Twenty-First Century psychoanalysis in the analytic classroom, in the community and in society. We strive to provide psychoanalytic and psychotherapy training and community service that shape and are shaped by an inclusive world view. SPSI is devoted to helping adults and children reach their full and unique potential in all phases and facets of their lives. SPSI is an approved training institute of the American Psychoanalytic Association.

Description

SPSI offers four-year clinical and academic training programs in adult psychoanalysis and in child/adolescent psychoanalysis, and two-year programs in child and adult psychotherapy, as well as continuing education seminars, symposia and courses for mental health professionals, academicians, and interested members of the community at large.
