Mission

Seattle Neighborhood Group (SNG) educates, organizes and collaborates with residents, businesses, government entities and other organizations to create safe communities through equitable engagement, with a focus on underserved populations.

Description

Seattle Neighborhood Group envisions crime-free communities where people work together to solve problems, children play without fear, and businesses thrive.

Grow Safe Communities with Seattle Neighborhood Group

SNG has been at the heart of community safety and connection since 1989. We believe that everyone deserves to live, work, and play in neighborhoods that are safe, welcoming, and full of opportunity. That’s why we work hand-in-hand with residents, youth, small businesses, and local leaders to prevent violence, build trust, and uplift underserved communities.

From organizing neighborhood safety walks and youth leadership programs, to hosting culturally responsive workshops and supporting Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), our team is on the ground every day turning hope into action.

This GiveBIG, your donation helps us:

  • Support youth leadership programs focused on gun violence prevention and mental health awareness

  • Provide safety education and resources to small businesses and vulnerable communities

  • Host community-building events, clean-ups, and workshops in high-crime and under-resourced neighborhoods

  • Train and empower residents to take part in local safety and advocacy initiatives

Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue showing up where we’re needed most. Together, we can Grow Safe Communities—one block, one conversation, one action at a time.

Give today. Grow safety, connection, and equity in our neighborhoods.
