The Future Is Now — Support the SRJO Jazz Legacy
SRJO’s 31st Season launched with a powerful tribute to Mary Lou Williams, led by guest director Conner Eisenmenger. This spring, we welcome Clark Gibson and Orrin Evans—and in May, we close with jazz icon Christian McBride.
As we celebrate this milestone year, we also mark a major transition: founding Artistic Director Michael Brockman will retire at the end of the season. His visionary leadership helped shape SRJO into a cornerstone of Seattle’s cultural life.
Now, SRJO enters a bold new chapter.
The future is now—and your support ensures we continue to honor the legacy of jazz while investing in its next generation.
Your gift helps us:
- Expand the Clarence Acox Jazz Scholars program in Seattle Public Schools
- Preserve rare jazz works through new transcriptions
- Support rising artists and the future of big band jazz
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s build SRJO’s future together.
Give now and keep the music alive.
