Mission

Rain City Rock Camp is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers youth and adults of marginalized genders to engage their creative potential through music, champion equity, and thrive in a community of allies and activists.

Our Work

RCRC combines music education, gender-responsive programming, and a commitment to positive social change to build an environment where adults and youth most impacted by systemic gender-based inequities can literally use their voice to advocate for themselves and their communities.

Giving Tuesday 2024: Fundraise for new programming!

Your donation during #GivingTuesday supports our youth music education and empowerment programming year round, and especially our upcoming FIRST EVER WINTER CAMP. 

Rain City Rock Camp’s first-ever Winter Youth Camp will empower 7th-9th graders to explore their creativity, build confidence, and connect through music. With arts education facing budget cuts across King County, this camp offers a vital space for young voices to thrive. Your donation will help us reach our $5,000 goal to fund workshop leaders, provide instruments, and offer scholarships, ensuring no student is left behind. Together, we can inspire a new generation of changemakers through the power of music.

On #GivingTuesday, stretch your donation impact and employ your workplace giving program's benefits to support our FIRST EVER Winter Youth Camp. We're fundraising for workshop leaders to teach Rain City campers about music 101, songwriting specifics, and artistic modes of resistance in times of revolution. This fledgling program is coming up SOON in February and we need your to make it a success.
