Description

VISION: At Quantum we believe in a world where all people are valued, empowered warriors creating safe, welcoming, and sustainable communities.

COMMUNITY: Martial Arts in the Public Interest (dba Quantum Martial Arts Seattle) is an community martial arts school located in Seattle's Central District.

INCLUSION: Established in 1995, Quantum is dedicated to providing rigorous martial arts training in a non-competitive, safe environment. Quantum is a community where all students assist in caring for the studio and running the school. We welcome children, teens, men and women including all members of the LBGT community.

OUTREACH: In addition to teaching at our studio, Quantum brings the benefits of martial arts training to children at their homes and schools through our outreach programs. We currently have programs at an all-girls middle school and a low-income housing complex. Taught by volunteer senior students, these programs are offered well below market value and allow students to be trained where they live and learn.

SCHOLARSHIPS: We offer scholarships and sliding scale to all with financial need. Currently 65% of the children in our kid's program are on partial scholarship. We give everyone the opportunity to reveal their personal strengths regardless of their financial situation.
