The Queen Anne Historical Society

Our mission: To preserve, protect and share the history of the

 people and places of Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood.

Queen Anne is more than turn-of-the-century mansions. It is the small neighborhood homes, businesses, people and trees that make this a special place to live. The preservation of buildings and places helps tell the stories of the people of Queen Anne from the past to contemporary residents for a sense of community in our constantly evolving neighborhood.  

We have protected many historically significant structures and places in our neighborhood -- there are now 55 landmarks in the Queen Anne community. This year, we are raising $4,000 to fund the production of QAHS' Walking Tour Map: a printed resource that brings Queen Anne's history to life for residents, visitors, and future generations.
