GiveBIG 2025

As a 100% donor funded organization, GiveBIG is Puget Sound Goat Rescue’s largest fundraising event of the year and key to our ability to provide for the nearly 150 goats in our care. These goats all require food, veterinary care, bedding and shelter while they are with us. Some are special needs and will be with us for life, while others are waiting for their forever home. No matter what, we are committed to their care for as long as it takes. As an example of what that means, our feed expenses alone were just over $5,000 a month in 2024. 

We are so lucky that our supporters understand that work of rescue doesn’t stop when the goats arrive at our farm. When you donate, you are joining us in the ongoing work of rescue. Your donation, no matter how much, will make a difference in the lives of these animals that need and deserve our help.

Mission

Puget Sound Goat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) registered charity dedicated to the rescue, care and rehoming of goats in need. We rescue goats from a variety of situations with a focus on pet goats facing slaughter and provide them a safe place of refuge, care and rehabilitation until they are adopted into their forever home. PSGR is also a forever home to a small group of medical special needs goats who receive specialized care at the rescue. Additionally, we strive to provide education on goat care and to show what wonderful pets goats make. Since 2001 we have saved and rehomed over 2800 goats.
