People's Memorial Association (PMA) is the trusted resource and thought-leader for funeral choice, education, and advocacy in Washington State. We envision a future where everyone has access to after-death arrangements that reflect their personal values and resources.

Description

People's Memorial Association is breaking the taboo of discussing death and the issues surrounding end of life. Thousands of Washingtonians access free resources and educational classes each year. PMA's advocacy efforts include increasing pricing transparency among funeral homes, improving consumer protection from predatory sales tactics, and increasing consumer choices. PMA provides financial support to help cover a portion of the cost of funeral services to families in need. Founded in 1939, PMA is a membership group dedicated to providing funeral consumer education and advocacy for all Washingtonians and is celebrating over 80 years of service.
