Mission

We provide hope, education, and support to sarcoma patients and their families in the Pacific Northwest, while investing in research to improve cure rates for sarcomas. We recognize that 1 in 3 cancer patients will become homeless during their treatment. We raise funds to provide financial support to economically disadvantaged sarcoma patients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

We're Obsessed
You'll hear two common phrases from us that represent our reason for existence;

END SARCOMA - this is our ambition, to see an end to the devastating impact sarcoma has on our lives. We accomplish this through prevention and treatment research.

NO ONE SHOULD FACE SARCOMA ALONE - this is our belief, to ensure everyone who faces sarcoma has a care team behind them. We accomplish this through outreach programs and online resources.

Recognition

Thank you for your support and dedication to empowering the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation to continue its work. Your recent donation will provide grants to patients, research support, and to ensure no one walks this journey alone. We cannot thank you enough.

Here is what donations like yours helped us achieve in 2020:
• We provided over 95 patient financial assistance grants.
• We continued our 10-year history of investing in Sarcoma research.
• We pivoted to a virtual Dragonslayer walk, allowing supporters from eight states to join in the efforts to end sarcoma.
• Launched a virtual Casual Chat group for survivors of Sarcoma angels. Meeting a much needed support for those who have lost someone.

Coming in 2021:
• Return of care packages for patients and adding one for survivors of Sarcoma angels.
• Further development of the virtual Casual Chat groups, expanding to patients, teens, and caregivers.
• Continuation of our virtual Researcher Update nights. Chance to learn from the researchers themselves about how research is progressing.
