NAMI Seattle addresses unmet mental health needs within our community through support, education and combatting mental health stigma. We envision a world where all those impacted by mental illness know they are not alone, and are empowered to live a fulfilling life.
Hundreds of thousands of people in the Greater Seattle area are significantly affected by mental health conditions. While clinical services are often effective for people seeking their best mental health, they often don't provide all of the help families need. NAMI Seattle fills in the gaps with support groups, mental health literacy classes, and resource referrals they need to live full, healthy, and hope-filled lives. What makes NAMI Seattle unique is that every program is peer-led and offered at no cost.
