The GSBA Scholarship & Education Fund is not just a regular scholarship program. It empowers LGBTQ+ and actively allied scholars to reach their full potential. For over 30 years, the GSBA Scholarship & Education Fund has been investing in LGBTQ+ scholars by providing financial awards, a network of support, skills-based workshops, and leadership resources.
Over the years, GSBA’s Scholarship & Education Development program has invested over $7 million in nearly 600 LGBTQ+ students who exemplify leadership, academic ability, and community involvement. In 2024, GSBA also introduced the Workforce Development Fund, which provides financial assistance to LGBTQ+ scholars pursuing high-demand trades.
By supporting the GSBA Scholarship & Education Fund, we can work together to build a world where everyone can learn - regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
The GSBA Scholarship & Education Fund is more than just helping students pay for college tuition. It's a comprehensive support system to ensure LGBTQ+ and actively allied students succeed academically and thrive personally and professionally. Here’s a look at the well-rounded blueprint for success that your donation helps support:
By donating to the GSBA Scholarship & Education Fund, you're not just contributing to a scholar's education but investing in a holistic developmental program that prepares LGBTQ+ and actively allied students for a world of challenges and triumphs.
"Being a GSBA Scholar has enabled me to change my own life, on my own terms. The social and financial support I’ve received has followed me on the path I make for myself. Without an obligation to pursue a particular major, my education—and my life—has been able to evolve freely." — CASEY, SCHOLAR ALUM
"I’m so, so grateful [for] being welcomed into a closer LGBTQ+ community. The GSBA scholarship [I received] means so much to me…I have so many amazing opportunities to grow and learn…and will be graduating with my AA this spring quarter!” — RHYDIAN, CURRENT SCHOLAR
