Wise is a nonprofit organization based in Washington State, dedicated since 1985 to advancing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). As leaders in the field of training and technical assistance, we are passionate about building inclusive workplaces—locally, statewide, and across the nation.

Our mission centers on promoting equitable employment for people with disabilities through innovative training, practical tools, and ongoing technical assistance.

At Wise, we:

• Work alongside communities to build capacity for inclusive employment—helping Washington State achieve some of the highest rates of competitive integrated employment in the United States.
• Foster strong relationships with individuals with lived experience, their families, and professionals, ensuring our training reflects real-world challenges and solutions.
• Engage a diverse team of subject matter experts, both on staff and as Wise Associates, bringing a wealth of knowledge in developmental disabilities to every project.
• Partner with trainers, keynote speakers, and video series contributors—many with direct experience navigating disability—to deliver relevant, up-to-date content for our audiences.
