Resilience Through Connection

Resilience through connection — that's how we build an economy where everyone thrives. Your support opens doors, creates opportunity, and strengthens the web that holds our entire community.

As the year comes to a close, we’re thrilled to offer limited-edition gifts featuring artwork by local artist Stephanie Mai.

Every donation helps us build resilience through connection—supporting local businesses, communities, and the networks that hold them together—and comes with a special thank-you gift, available through December 31, 2025.

What's at Stake

When a neighborhood loses local businesses, it loses more than storefronts. It loses gathering places, economic vibrancy, and the cultural fabric that makes a place feel like home.

When farmers aren’t connected to buyers, it's not just lost income or markets — it’s food that doesn’t reach plates, local supply chains broken, and food businesses struggling

When a maker can't find production space, that may be a business that doesn't launch, jobs that don't exist, and innovation that never happens

This is just some of what's at stake when local economies break down.

And this is why we exist.

We work with businesses that are trying to build something better. Good businesses that are foundational for thriving communities — and we help them grow their impact, both individually and together.

Good Business Network of Washington connects over 3,400 businesses, organizations, and residents across Washington to build a different kind of economy, one that prioritizes people and shared prosperity.

In 2025, we:

  • Directed $526,894 to independent businesses to support community kitchens, access affordable commercial space, resources, and education

  • Paid restaurants and kitchen partners to create over 9000 meals for community members facing food insecurity

  • Brought over 70 businesses together around the state to exchange ‘waste’ and hard-to-recycle materials, diverting them from the landfill and towards productive use

Like many nonprofits, we're navigating significant public funding cuts while demand for our work grows. Businesses need us. Communities need us. And we need you.

Your support doesn't just fund programs - critically, it keeps our doors open so we can keep opening doors for others. When you strengthen us, you strengthen everyone we serve.
