Our Mission

To impacting the lives of those affected by FSH Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) through direct financial support of research. 

Our Vision 

A future where a diagnosis of FSHD is followed by, "we have a treatment."

Since 2005, Friends has funded more than $9 million in research to find a treatment and cure for FSHD, the most prevalent form of muscular dystrophy.  We have funded research at UW Medicine, Fred Hutchinson Research Center, Seattle Children's, and many others around the globe, giving hope to all those living with FSHD.

Thank you to all our donors, along with our dedicated board members and volunteers, who have made it possible to stimulate interest in FSHD research and allowed us to fund important studies bringing us closer to finding a treatment.
