Our mission is to help educate, inform and engage the public around voting and election issues in order to increase civic involvement in democracy in Washington State and beyond.
Fix Democracy First Education Fund (FDFED) was established in 2007 and is the education wing of Fix Democracy First, a statewide organization working to help achieve fair elections and government policies that reflect the will of the people and not the power of money. We are dedicated to informing and educating the public around voting rights and access, alternative systems such as ranked choice voting and proportional representation to overcome gerrymandering, campaign finance reform, election security, and other democracy related topics, in order to increase and sustain citizen participation.
