Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens

A nonprofit organization

Our mission is to create and maintain an inspirational arboretum and gardens accessible to all, internationally-acclaimed and locally enjoyed for its plant diversity, original art and educational opportunities.

In 2023, Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens celebrates its 60th anniversary. The Everett Garden Club conceived of an arboretum and approached Everett Parks and Community Services. Land within American Legion Memorial Park in North Everett was eventually chosen. Volunteer garden curators began to carve out individual gardens on the 3.3 acre site. Today there are 12 themed gardens, with 18 sculptures scattered throughout. Classes and events are free including online and in-person adult gardening classes featuring local experts on topics of interest. Our Family Fun Event series engages young people in projects that cultivate the next generation of gardeners. This year will be the 3rd year we light up the Arboretum in December for Wintertide Lights, a month-long celebration in December.

Docent Tours are available to groups by reservation. It's a great option for garden clubs & tour groups. Call the Message Line to reserve and a volunteer will call you back. 425-257-8597.

The Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens is a 501c3 organization, and donations to the arboretum are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens is grateful for the contributions of our many friends, donors, members and partnerships. Special thanks to Everett Parks and Community Services, City of Everett Cultural Arts Commission, and Master Gardeners of Snohomish County, as well as our grantors, sponsors, donors and our many hard-working volunteers.
