Emerald Ballet Theatre

A nonprofit organization

Emerald Ballet Theatre (EBT) is dedicated to advancing the arts through education, performance, community outreach, and collaboration with other arts organizations.

Founded in 2007 and led by former Bolshoi ballerina Viktoria Titova, the company repertoire combines timeless classics with original choreographic works. Dancers of all abilities have the opportunity to participate in high-quality productions, frequently featuring live music and professional guest artists. EBT's outreach takes dance into the schools and broader community, and provides support for those not usually exposed to the arts. Children from the community can also participate in fun, interdisciplinary events at the studio. In addition, EBT sponsors a free class for boys so they can try out dance in a supportive, inclusive environment. Older teens benefit from workshops and internships through the EBT Teaching Institute

All GiveBig donations to Emerald Ballet Theatre benefit the EBT Scholarship Fund. This means that every dollar you generously share will go directly to children who most need it!

Here’s how your donation makes an impact on our scholarship students:

▪ $20: Children's event at studio
▪ $50: Master class with guest instructor
▪ $100: Pair of pointe shoes & ribbons
▪ $250: One week of dance camp
▪ $425: One week of ballet intensive
▪ $1,000: A full year of ballet classes for a beginning student

Scholarship recipients gain so much more than technical knowledge through their ballet training. Discipline, creativity, confidence, community, and a lifelong appreciation of the arts are also nurtured. Please help a child begin or keep dancing to reach his/her/their full potential. Thank you!

EBT is deeply grateful for the support of 4Culture, Washington State Arts Commission, the City of Bellevue, National Endowment for the Arts, and all our wonderful donors, community partners and volunteers.
