This GiveBIG, we’re working to raise $7500 to make sure thousands of people across Washington don’t just learn to bike – they thrive on bikes of all shapes, sizes, and wheels.

At Cascade, we believe everyone deserves to experience the confidence and freedom that comes from riding a bike. That’s why we’re working with partners across the state – school districts, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies – to teach 70,000 kids how to ride safely this year.

Mission

Cascade Bicycle Club brings people together to experience the joy of bicycling through transportation, recreation, and friendship. We collaborate with members, volunteers, and community partners to inspire people to advocate for a safe, equitable, and sustainable Washington state. We build confidence, leadership, knowledge, and community by teaching bicycle skills to all ages.

Description

Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation's largest statewide bicycle nonprofit, serves bike riders of all ages and abilities throughout the state of Washington. We teach the joys of bicycling, advocate for safe places to ride, and bring our community together through rides and events. Our signature programs include our Learn To Ride lessons, the Major Taylor project, Let's Go elementary school bike education, Free Group Rides, the Pedaling Relief Project, the Advocacy Leadership Institute, and the Bike Walk Roll Summit.
