Mission

For more than 70 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has inspired & enabled all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. BGCB's 18 Clubhouses provide a safe and fun place for more than 16,000 youth to grow and thrive each year. During critical out-of-school hours, dedicated Club staff deliver life-enhancing, quality programs focused on academics, health, and leadership.

Description

Bellevue is one of the most diverse cities in the country, and with that comes with incredible strengths as well as unique challenges.  As our community faces a widening opportunity gap and an increasing demand for affordable childcare, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue stands as the essential resource for families caught in this gap, providing vital support and services to ensure all children have access to the resources they deserve.  Every day, we provide a safe space where young people can grow, learn, and thrive.  With access to supportive mentors, nutritious snacks, and innovative programs, our Club members are better prepared for success in school, work, and life.

In 2024 community support allowed us to:

• Serve 16,979 youth ages 3-18 at our 18 Clubhouses, where 91% of our member feel safe from harm and 92% of our members feel accepted for who they are at our Clubs
• Distribute nearly $2,000.000 in Club scholarships that supported 1,108 kids and 860 households
• Provide 20,948 hours of after-school and summer programming, fostering positive relationships, with 90% of member saying adults at our Clubs genuinely care about them
