Beacon Arts

A nonprofit organization

Our Mission

At Beacon Arts, we are committed to enriching Beacon Hill through the power of art. Creativity can transform public spaces into vibrant, engaging, and inclusive environments. We aim to unite artists and audiences, fostering a robust and connected community and activating underutilized public space.

About us

Beacon Arts is the parent nonprofit for 5 programs serving SE Seattle's Beacon Hill Neighborhood. We are an all-volunteer organization committed to accessible events for our extremely diverse community. This means all of our programming is free to the public.

-Beacon Arts Street Fair: Live music, food and artisan vendors, community dance, family activities, garden share and information on the BH Light Rail Plaza and the Roberto Maestas Festival Street. Every Second Saturday of May through September.

-Beacon Hill Garden Club: Garden Shares freely distribute seeds and plants for food sustainability and life enhancement. Monthly events and meetings for social and educational enrichment.

-Jefferson Jumpstart: Presenting a series of free outdoor summer concerts in Jefferson Park.

-Beacon Arts Guild: Supports working and emerging SE Seattle Artists with social meetings, workshops, group field trips and an online directory of services. Members have access to grant fiscal sponsorship and equipment.

-South End Public Market: Pop-up Artisan Markets showcasing local artists and makers.

*Beacon Arts is a registered 501(C)(3) charitable non-profit.
