Thanks to our generous supporter, John C Robinson, every dollar raised will be matched up to $3,000! Every contribution helps - from $5 to $500. Thank you so much for supporting our work.
Since 2005, zoe | juniper has been making work for theaters, museums, and many spaces in between! In our company's 20th year, we are creating our most ambitious work to date, UNTITLED, premiering at The Moore Theatre May 17 & 18, 2025. Tickets & show info here!
In UNTITLED, zoe | juniper and Xiu Xiu examine psychological thrillers as a lens for dissecting the pervasiveness of misogyny, the backlash against the MeToo movement, the insidious virus of patriarchy, Jordan Peele’s horror films and the Crucible.
This new collaboration is performed live by Xiu Xiu, (Jamie Stewart and Angela Hyunhe Seo) four stellar dancers with collaborators dramaturge Mikhaela Mahony, choreography by Zoe Scofield, text and creative consulting by Dahlak Brathwaite, costumes by Kaye Voyce, video projection design by Juniper Shuey, lighting by Ryan Dunn, set by Jennifer Zeyl, and puppets by Joe Seely. Dancers: Melody Morrow, Caitlin Javec, Mandolin Burns, Aden Hurst.
The full production of UNTITLED costs $120,000—and in order to pay our lead artists and producer for their months of work, we still need to raise $56,000. This GiveBIG campaign is one step we’re taking toward meeting that goal. While we've prioritized paying our dancers and collaborators, our core team—Zoe, Juniper, and Lilach—have not yet received a fee for their hours of labor.
With the national dance funding cuts, we've directly experienced the impact. Raising funds to support this commission has been completely different. After 20 years of making art, it’s become harder to produce work—even as our subject matter grows more personal, urgent, and timely. The show will go on, but we can’t do it sustainably without your continued support. Every contribution helps ensure that each artist is recognized and compensated for their labor, vision, and care.
