Youth in Focus

Youth in Focus has been a pillar in the youth arts community for over 30 years. Access to arts programming is often available only to the most resourced people. In response, Youth in Focus prioritizes free programming, and for the first time ever, we're providing summer programming at no cost to participants.  

"Having free and accessible programs like this really matters because not everyone has the chance to explore their interests and passions. It gives them the opportunity to experiment and be encouraged to be creative and grow. If there were no YIF, we would lose a lot of great young artists in the South area who do not have access to cameras/free classes. 2025 Impact Snapshot:

•       70% of participants identified as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color

•       50%+ qualified for free/reduced-price lunch

•       37% identified as LGBTQIA+

•       500+ youth artists engaged in our programs

Having space that invites connection and community helps combat academic pressure, social isolation, and the pandemic's lasting effects.
