Since the 1960s, we’ve worked across environmental issues and with partners across the state to help protect Washington’s air, water, forests, and communities. Our work has helped make Washington state a national leader on climate action, and an iconic place to call home.

We’ve stopped dozens of fossil fuel projects. We’ve mobilized grassroots movements to protect waterways and wildlife. We’ve helped pass groundbreaking climate policy - and we invest time and resources to make sure laws are implemented.

Right now, we are focused on accelerating the clean energy transition, pushing for investment in climate solutions that help people and nature, protecting salmon habitat, improving wildfire resilience, and so much more.
