$75,000 Goal

Help us unlock our match for trails and public lands!

We have a goal to raise $75,000 for trails and public lands before midnight on May 5. If we reach our goal, an additional $25,000 will be unlocked to support WTA's work thanks to the generosity of Alberto Werner and an anonymous WTA donor. Make your gift now!

60 years of Trails for Everyone, Forever®

Washington Trails Association is on a mission to connect everyone to the outdoors and build a community that gives back to trails and public lands. We're focused on a single, long-term vision: Trails for everyone, forever. For over 60 years, this vision has guided our passionate community of members, partners, staff and volunteers. Together, we have raised our voices through advocacy, lowering barriers to recreation and inspiring people to get outside and give back.

What can your support power in a single day?

GiveBIG is only one day this year, but a lot can be accomplished for trails, public lands and hikers in 24 hours. Here are a few things WTA is able to do in single day thanks to outdoor enthusiasts like you:

🌲Expand access to the outdoors by improving wheelchair accessible trails and hosting inclusive work parties.

🔦Inspire the next generation of outdoor leaders by providing free equipment from our gear lending libraries to hundreds of youth.

🌄Improve trails at up to seven locations across the state at the same timefrom the Puget Sound to Eastern Washington.

📢Protect wild spaces by amplifying the voices of 5,000+ people by sending their messages to Congress in support of public lands.

📱Help thousands of people find their next adventure with our free Hiking Guide and Trailblazer app.

If we can accomplish all of this is a day, imagine what we could do in a year -- or 60?

As a nonprofit, over half of our funding comes from individual donors. Please make a gift today during GiveBIG to power our work now and for generations to come.
