The Washington Blues Society is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote, preserve, and advance the culture and tradition of blues music as an art form.
The Washington Blues Society publishes a 32 page full color monthly newsletter. Manages the Musican Relief Fund to aid musicians in times of need and over sees the Pass the Torch education program and fund. We support festivals and other music events through out the Pacific Northwest. We are affiliated with the Blues Foundation in Memphis. Tennessee.
