Washington United Migrant (WUM) is a community-led organization supporting migrant families across Washington.
Many of the women we work with—especially mothers—face challenges like limited access to information in their language, social isolation, and few spaces that truly understand their experiences. These barriers affect not only individuals' well-being, but also the stability and future of entire families.
Since our founding in November 2024, we have trained 30 community promotoras and directly supported 390 families, helping them access essential resources, educational workshops, and guidance tailored to their needs.
We’ve seen something powerful: when women are given the tools, knowledge, and support, they become leaders in their communities.
At WUM, promotoras—trusted community leaders—share information, guide families, and provide support through workshops and one-on-one connections. They create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
With your support, we can:
Your donation isn’t just supporting a program—it’s building a community led by women who uplift entire families.
Join us in making that impact.
The Washington United Migrant is a nonprofit program hosted by Evergreen Social Impact, a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor organization (EIN: 86-2954398). Questions regarding the relationship between WUM and ESI should be directed to receptionist@evergreensocialimpact.org
