Washington United Migrant

Washington United Migrant (WUM) is a nonprofit founded by migrants, for our community. We strengthen the well-being of Latino migrant families across Washington through education, access to resources, and peer support.

Since beginning our work in November 2024, we have supported more than 500 families and trained 30 community promotoras across seven Washington counties.

Through our Care Coordination program, we have supported more than 170 individuals in Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and Grays Harbor counties, helping families navigate services and connect with the resources they need. This work has also created four jobs for migrant women, recognizing the valuable role they play in supporting their communities.

Your donation will help WUM invest in our community promotoras by providing ongoing opportunities to build their skills, grow personally and professionally, and support their own well-being. When we invest in the women who serve our communities, we help strengthen the support available to migrant families.
