Across Seattle, too many families and neighborhoods face challenges—under-resourced schools, limited economic opportunity, barriers to health and wellness, and generational inequities. Urban Impact is committed to changing that—holistically, sustainably, and alongside the communities we serve. 

For nearly 40 years, Urban Impact has been rooted in Seattle’s Rainier Valley, evolving to meet the needs of our diverse neighbors. As a multi-faceted, community-driven organization, we focus on health and wellness, economic development, youth and family outreach, and neighborhood transformation, responding to the real, felt needs of those we serve. 

How We Make an Impact:

• Youth & Family Outreach: Walking alongside young people and families through mentorship, education, and community support to help the next generation flourish in character, confidence, and purpose.
• Economic Development:  Equipping under-resourced and underestimated entrepreneurs with the tools, training, connections, and capital they need to launch and scale sustainable businesses
• Health & Wellness:  Advancing generational health by promoting fitness, nutrition, and holistic well-being. Providing programs and resources that help individuals and families develop healthy, sustainable lifestyles.
• Neighborhood Transformation: Connects and equips people to be the Church in the neighborhood as a unit of change by building relationships, empowering local leadership, and helping families flourish
