Our Mission
We believe everyone deserves a home.
We provide compassionate listening, focused referrals, and financial assistance to prevent homelessness.
We are a unique social service agency in that we began as a mission of an ecumenical group of churches in the University District. Since 1986 we have been in the business to prevent homelessness. We serve low-income clients in 98103, 98105, 98115 and 98125. In addition to rent, utility, and deposit help, we offer Metro bus tickets, a snack pack, hygiene kit, and clothing voucher to the thrift store at University Methodist Temple.
