Mission

To provide our most deserving ethnically and socioeconomically diverse youth world class opportunities to achieve Artistic Excellence in the Performing Arts through community classes and pre-professional classical ballet training, national and international mentors and intergenerational guest artists, whole person development and community give back.

Description

T.U.P.A.C. has been providing high quality dance training and performances for the Tacoma Community since 2017 and is located in the historic Hilltop neighborhood on 11th and Martin Luther King Jr Way.

Our students come from diverse economic backgrounds and cultural perspectives. At T.U.P.A.C, we provide an equitable space in which all students are welcome regardless of their financial circumstances. In the last year, we provided over $55,000 in need-based dance scholarships to Tacoma area students.

Vision

T.U.P.A.C. envisions a future where our students will be globally recognized as T.U.P.A.C. artists by the content of their character, their poise, the generosity of their spirit and the phenomenal contributions they make to their communities and the planet.

We are currently raising funds to complete the TI (tenent improvements) in our new state-of-the-art theatre and dance studios on S. 11th and S.L St., in the historic Hilltop Community of Tacoma, scheduled to be completed in June 2025.
