Purpose and Vision 

We strive to create safe and affirming outdoor spaces that support children’s physical, emotional and intellectual development. Our founding purpose is to create a community where all children have access to high-quality education and develop the social, emotional, and academic skills needed to thrive in school and life.

Our intention is to serve our community as an anti-racist organization that helps children and families feel a sense of belonging in nature by increasing access to meaningful outdoor learning that is child-centered, grounded in community, and culturally responsive.

Description

Tiny Trees Preschool gives children a quality education and a joyful, nature-rich childhood: one full of play, exploration and wonder. Now serving more than 120 children in 8 parks across King County, Tiny Trees eliminates the cost of a brick and mortar facility, and invests in what really matters: tuition assistance for families with need, and supporting great teachers.
