OUR SCHOOL
The Madrone School is a non-profit organization that provides an alternative to the public school system in the greater Seattle area. We offer individualized services to autistic students and their families. Our multidisciplinary team uses evidence-based therapies and personalized academics to help each child reach their maximum potential. The Madrone School provides a 1:1 student-to-staff ratio to ensure each child receives the support they need.
The Madrone School is named after the Madrone tree, a plant native to the Pacific Northwest. The Madrone tree is known for its unique growth patterns that are dependent on the environment in which it was planted. At the Madrone school, we create an environment where each unique student can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
MISSION
Our mission at The Madrone School is to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of autistic students through evidence-based therapies, life skills development, and specialized academics. We offer our students learning opportunities that promote independence and allow them to reach their fullest potential.
