Komen supports patients through our Patient Care Canter, our Financial Aid Assistance Programs, Research, and through our advocacy efforts at the state and national levels.  

This past year,  

• 3,730 people in Washington took advantage of the Patient Care Center EVERY WEEK  
• 1,903 people advocated for breast cancer rights  
• 1 bill introduced in the state. 
• $227,250 was distributed in the form of Financial Aid Assistance to local breast cancer patients  

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. That promise in 1982, launched Susan G. Komen, and we haven't stopped.
