Mission

Our mission at Spark is to serve as a bridge to ensure that arts education is made accessible and available to youth as a catalyst for their personal and professional growth.

Spark! Creativity – GiveBIG 2025 Campaign Story

This year, Spark! Creativity launched its pilot programs in the Edmonds and Everett school districts, reaching students in grades 4–12 with transformative arts experiences.

With a mission to make arts education accessible to all, we brought visual arts, ceramics, and creative writing directly into classrooms and community spaces—creating a safe, inspiring environment for students to explore their identities, express themselves, and build confidence.

🎨 In Visual Arts, students learned not just techniques like collage, printmaking, and mixed media—but how to use art as a tool for storytelling and self-discovery.🖌️ In Ceramics, young artists explored sculpture and pottery, discovering the joy of shaping clay and the confidence that comes from creating something from nothing.📝 In Creative Writing, students unlocked their inner voices through poetry, short stories, and journaling—developing emotional insight, empathy, and self-awareness.

The results?✨ Shy students became leaders.✨ Struggling students found new passions.✨ Every student left with pride in their work and new possibilities in sight.

🔥 Your Support Keeps the Spark Alive

As we prepare to expand these programs in 2025, we need your help to keep the momentum going. Your GiveBIG donation helps fund teaching artists, provide supplies, and ensure our workshops remain accessible to all students, especially those in underserved communities.
