A Lifeline of Services for Older Adults

Sound Generations provides life-changing, life-saving services for older adults, adults with disabilities, and those that care for them. Our offerings span four main pillars and include Meals on Wheels, Hyde Shuttle, caregiver support, mental health resources, and more.

In addition, Sound Generations partners with various senior centers to administer services, including five SG-affiliated senior centers. We host congregate community dining meals at over two dozen centers and oversee EnhanceFitness exercise classes at sites across the country and beyond.

Sound Generations has been featured annually in The Seattle Times' Fund for Those in Need campaign. Since 1967, Sound Generations has proudly been Washington state's most comprehensive provider of resources and services for older adults.

Redefining the Aging Journey

For Older Americans Month, Sound Generations is "flipping the script" by lifting up Stories That Inspire Generations. In the last two decades, we've seen over 550 stories about inspiring older adults from our community. We want to amplify some of these stories and encourage you to do the same, sharing the stories of older adults in your life.

By sharing the stories of real people, we shed light on the realities of the aging journey. Through our programs, our events, and our senior centers, we alleviate isolation and bring people closer to community.

The Cambia Inspire Challenge

This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 in support of life-changing, life-saving services for older adults.

In addition, our challenge partner Cambia Health Foundation will double every donation of $100 or more*. From Cambia president Peggy Maguire: “We’re living longer and that’s something to celebrate. We partner with non-profit organizations to raise awareness about the valuable contributions of older adults and to ensure people in our communities have what they need to live and age well."

Every donation of $100 or more will be automatically entered in a drawing to win 4 Mariner's tickets.

*Up to $7,500 total.
