Skagit Community Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Skagit Community Foundation exists to fulfill the goals of donors to enhance the community we live in. Each year, about $1,000,000 is distributed through grants and scholarships to benefit the people of Skagit County.

The Skagit Community Foundation is one of more than 800 community foundations in the United States, dedicated to improving the lives of people in a defined geographic area. Community foundations bring together the visions, generosity, and resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support their local nonprofit sector.

Your gift today will help us meet the greatest needs of our community. Help us provide support and opportunities to our local nonprofit partners that are advancing important work and initiatives in our community.

Donations can be designated to:

  1. Skagit Disaster Relief Fund (for ongoing and future disaster relief needs in the community)
  2. SCF Community Needs Fund
  3. Basic Human Needs/Human Services
  4. Youth Education
  5. General Operations
  6. Or any nonprofit that serves Skagit County (please specify)

When you have the desire to make a lasting impact in our community, we put donated dollars to work to connect you with the right cause and maximize the impact of your gift. Our individualized service will connect you to the people, resources, and issue-area expertise to make your philanthropic vision a reality. We are here to support your ideas for the community.
