Shout Your Abortion (SYA) has been galvanizing people and transforming the cultural landscape since our inception in 2016. In the last decade, we've leveraged bold tactics and a deeply creative approach, evolving into a global organization with partnerships and friends across the world. 

With support from folks like you, SYA has changed the world for the better. And we’re not stopping until abortion is universally accessible and completely de-stigmatized in every single community.

We're raising $30,000 between now and December 31 to support our groundbreaking cultural work. 

One example of the type of groundbreaking work you'll be supporting: this fall SYA launched a series of short Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to raise awareness about the availability of abortion pills by mail. We partnered with Detroit-based, Korean-born award-winning director Na Forest Lim to create two short, visually compelling vignettes – each envisioning a world where people have easy access to abortion pills at home and are supported by their friends, family, and community. 

These PSAs were an integral component of an extremely successful awareness campaign launched in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where abortion can be extremely difficult to access and awareness of pills by mail is low. Our Michigan campaign is just the first in a series of pill awareness projects SYA is planning for 2026. Help us make them a reality!

These PSAs are just the latest in a long list of effective, informative, and powerful cultural messaging campaigns from SYA.  Other recent work includes Abortion is Everything, a beautiful new hardcover book that speaks to five to eight-year-olds about abortion, a series of international posters created in collaboration with a CDMX-based artist and a slew of global friends, our ongoing online educational abortion series, and our new series of free toolkits intended to make anyone an abortion activist (just to name a few!).

Shout Your Abortion (SYA) is normalizing abortion and elevating safe paths to access, regardless of legality. SYA makes resources, campaigns, and media intended to arm existing activists, create new ones, and foster collective participation in abortion access all over the country.
