Abortion is EVERYTHING.

Shout Your Abortion (SYA) has been galvanizing people and transforming the cultural landscape since our inception in 2016. In the last decade, we've leveraged bold tactics and a deeply creative approach, evolving into a global organization with partnerships and friends across the world. 

With support from folks like you, SYA has changed the world for the better. And we’re not stopping until abortion is universally accessible and completely destigmatized in every single community.

We're raising $30,000 between now and December 31 to support our groundbreaking cultural work. 

Abortion is Everything, a brand-new children's book from SYA, is an excellent example of what we do best: making pro-abortion work that expands the collective perception of “normal." Co-authored by Rachel Kessler, a writer and mother of two and illustrated by artist Emily Nokes, this revolutionary book frames abortion as a power unique to human beings and one of the ways we are able to imagine our own futures and shape our own destinies. Abortion is Everything speaks directly to 5-8 year olds  about what abortion is, how it might feel, and why people have abortions.

SYA's new hardcover book introduces children ages 5 - 8 to the concept of abortion. 

This beautiful book is just the latest in a long list of effective, informative, and powerful cultural messaging campaigns from SYA. Other recent work includes a series of gorgeous PSAs about obtaining abortion pills in advance, a series of international posters created in collaboration with a CDMX-based artist and a slew of global friends, our ongoing online educational abortion series, and our new series of free toolkits intended to make anyone an abortion activist (just to name a few!). 

Co-authored by a mother of two amazing kids, Abortion is Everything is just one of the powerful ways SYA works to culturally normalize abortion.

Shout Your Abortion (SYA) is normalizing abortion and elevating safe paths to access, regardless of legality. SYA makes resources, campaigns, and media intended to arm existing activists, create new ones, and foster collective participation in abortion access all over the country.
