ABORTION ACCESS IS A COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY.

All over the world, people are working to make abortion access happen, in a million different ways. Together, we are a global movement.

From Brazil, where grassroots feminist networks discovered the abortifacent use of misoprostol in the 1980s; to the U.S., where the fall of Roe kicked Mexican and American community access networks into overdrive, communities have been organizing, sharing information, and making abortion access happen for generations. History tells us that abortion is unstoppable, as long as we continue showing up for each other. SYA believes that here in the U.S., we have what we need to maintain access, in spite of the political atmosphere—but more of us have gotta show up.

We're raising $15,000 between now and May 5 to support our groundbreaking cultural work.

SYA is fueled by our experience of global solidarity. We are inspired by movements who have developed successful strategies to sustain access no matter the political conditions. And we are blown away that our work continues to have a resounding impact around the world. Your support helps us continue building deep, durable networks of abortion support in every pocket of the U.S., using tactics honed by organizers, doulas, and activists worldwide.

We are building strategically across the country, continuing to transform the culture with our creative, proactive, and time-tested approach, and we're not stopping until abortion is universally accessible and completely de-stigmatized in every single community.

SYA has been creating singular, powerful pro-abortion work for over a decade. We are so proud to say that our impact has transformed the culture, in the U.S. and beyond.

• Our organizing program connects activists across the US and supplies them with information and support to help bridge abortion access in their own communities.

•  Our suite of free downloadable toolkits packed with resources intended to make anyone an abortion activist. 

• Our ever-evolving Materials page is chock-full of beautiful poster designs, informational mini-zines, DIY postcards, and more. 

• Our new gorgeous series of meant-to-be-shared Public Service Announcements make it easy for anyone to share information about the availability of pills by mail.

• Our shop provides pro-abortion wearable propaganda, books, pins, jewelry, and more — and we give away a ton of beautiful resources for free! 

• Our online Abortion Academy monthly series features conversations with activists, artists, colleagues, and other experts across the global abortion landscape.

And we won’t stop. This year we are growing our organizing program, working with partners in restricted states to elevate paths to safe access, collaborating with a range of national and global partners to expand awareness of self-managed abortion, and much more. We’re heading into our second decade of work with a solid track record. You can count on us to continue to change the game.

MISSION

Shout Your Abortion (SYA) is normalizing abortion and elevating safe paths to access, regardless of legality. SYA makes resources, campaigns, and media intended to arm existing activists, create new ones, and foster collective participation in abortion access all over the country.
