$20,000 = Transformation + Light!

Giving Tuesday comes during a time of transformation and a season of light. Help TSGP raise the matching funds for equipment purchase to transformation our studio to a professional-quality performance space AND create a portable “black box in a box” for transforming any space into a class-act theatre.

In this season of light, The Shattered Glass Project invites YOU to help transform our physical space with a gift of light!

The Shattered Glass Project received a $11,250 Cultural Equipment grant from 4Culture. This grant kickstarts our purchase of a $29,000 package of equipment to transform our studio space in the MLK FAME Center into a 35-seat pocket theatre*.

Our goal on Giving Tuesday is to raise matching funds of $20,000 so we can purchase not only the full package of lighting equipment, but also a pipe-and-drape (curtains and the poles to hang them up with) and speakers to complete the transformation of The Green Room.

This professional-quality pocket theatre will allow us to provide unique creative opportunities for women, non-binary and transgender theatre makers at all levels of their professional careers. A new theatre space in Madison Valley, which we can share with other small theatre companies, will transform our theatre community. The stories we tell will nourish our hearts and souls.

The abundant gift from 4Culture will get us started, but YOUR gift will turn on the lights. Please give what you can, to help us complete the transformation.

*(Conveniently we can also pack all this equipment up and use it to transform other spaces into nifty little theatres wherever we go!)
